spreads her love of yoga to yogi’s and yogini’s in london as well as on adventurous retreats worldwide. she runs 200 hour teacher trainings in london as well as abroad and is one of the guest teachers current teacher stewart gilchrist. caroline pegna caroline pegna caroline is extremely passionate about teaching yoga and feels very lucky that she is able to do this as her full-time job! she hopes that students will find her classes to be not only challenging but also fun and playful... she has practiced in various countries around the world and loves the feeling that yoga leaves her with, in particular power vinyasa and yin! she originally trained in 2010 with duncan peak in australia and since then has followed other teachers such as lance schuler, tiffany cruikshank, stewart gilchrist, mark kan, dvid kyle and the yoga people. what she loves to see the most is students progressing, changing and on a journey to meeting their full potential on and off the mat! isabel groves isabel groves with 19 years of experience as a yoga practitioner and lately as a yoga teacher, my background is based mostly on the ashtanga vinyasa yoga system taught by sri k. pattabhi jois and on bryan kest’s power yoga. i teach a dynamic flow yoga class focusing on movement of the body in harmony with the breath (vinyasa krama). my classes are set to music, with variations given to suit all levels. i encourage my students to move with grace and lightness, emphasizing a yoga krama approach throughout the practice. students of mixed abilities move through sequences and take progressive higher options in their asana as their abilities and needs suit them. a focus on the mind-body connection is given to calm student’s minds and achieve a sense of greater balance and well-being throughout their practice. issy scobie issy scobie issy found herself on a yoga mat in 2011, and was – to her great surprise – instantly hooked by the stillness yoga brought to her mind, and later by the changes that yoga made to her until then very inflexible body. she trained in the ashtanga-based vinyasa flow style of yoga with yoga london in 2014 and has been teaching in various london studios ever since. with a focus first on finding the breath, and then on building a physical practice to feel good in your body, issy’s class is challenging but also accessible; you can expect to sweat (and perhaps to smile) your way through to savasana feeling stretchier and stronger than when you stepped into the studio. kim peacock kim peacock my passion for mindful movement started during my performing arts studies. i fell in love with vinyasa flow yoga and meditation in 2002 as a result of a deepening connection to myself and life as a whole. i discovered the benefits of yoga to be physically, mentally and energetically immense, therefore inspiring me to study to become a yoga teacher with the sivananda yoga vedanta center, bahamas in 2004. i have also studied with the power yoga company london and continue my path as a student with various teachers from an array of traditions such as vinyasa flow, hatha, yin and meditation. i teach from my heart within a warm and compassionate space sharing my personal experience and passion for movement and mindfulness. i believe yoga and meditation should be accessible to everyone and my aim is to support you to live a mindful life, with clarity, calm and deep connection. my approach is fun, playful, challenging and calming all set to a backdrop of uplifting music. sophie dear sophie dear having spent 8 years working in the tv industry as an assistant director on shows such as spooks and mr selfridge, sophie gave up the incredibly long hours for a healthier more purposeful life. yoga has changed sophie's life in a dramatic way and she hopes to inspire others to create a sense of balance in their own lives. sophie is a health and happiness warrior and teaches a dynamic style of vinyasa yoga where movement is syncronised with the breath. flowing and creative sequences with an eclectic soundtrack means that sophie's classes not only build on strength, flexibility and balance but are fun and down-to-earth. whilst moving your body is a big focus to the class, sophie also allows for those important moments of stillness and relaxing meditation. zara pittman zara pittman zara previously worked as a dance teacher & behavior specialist for at-risk young people & ex offenders. initially taking up yoga to compliment her work, she fell in love with the practice and took to teaching full time. zara believes in yoga for reform and how the practice can strengthen our relationships with others and with ourselves. zara enjoys teaching a strong and accessible physical practice that provides an opportunity to create an emotional release and connection. cat kuhl cat kuhl i took my first yoga class one hot afternoon as a teenager after school in kuala lumpur, malaysia almost 20 years ago. yoga came and went, but in one way or another has stuck with me ever since. in the end it has become a huge part of my life, helping me to ground, become calmer, stronger, and more balanced in body and mind. in 2016, i completed my 500hr ya us certified yoga teacher training under stewart gilchrist, under whom i also did my 200hr ya us certified training in 2012. i teach dynamic power vinyasa and slow flow (a class that brings together a strong vinyasa flow and more restorative and yin style poses), incorporating variations to engage all levels of practitioners, always focusing on the breath and bringing attention to going beyond just the physical practice. jess stockton jess stockton what drew jess to the practice of yoga was the sense of space and expansiveness she found in mind and body which reminded her of her love of wide
